Job roles

I am in charge of cinematography, Chris is doing the editing and Amrit is doing the sound.
all 3 of us are going to split and work on the mise-en-scene and performance.
I am going to be Director, Chris will be the editor and Amirt will be producer.
I will direct the film and position the characters in the camera shots. Amrit will be the camera person and produce the final product. Chris will edit any shots and add effects.

Running order

1. high angle shot of setting
2. long shot of 2 youths drug dealing in front of graffiti wall
3. straight cut to close up of drugs
4. high angle shot of single house
5. zoom in through window and fade into phone ringing
6. zoom out, so you see the phone and women walking towards the empty sofa
7. medium shot of women sitting down and answering the phone
8. close-up of her face(she receives shocked news)
9. long shot of the victim alone ion the field
10. long shot of boys coming either side of victim with bats
11. medium close up of victim on the floor
12. close up of the mom in the phone.
13. zoom out to a medium shot and a straight cut to doorway
14. long shot of Anup and then a straight cut close up.

Brief and ideas

Narrative
mother gets bad news on the phone that her daighter-in-la whas killed her husband. the phone call is from the police and as the mother is on the call, the daughter-in-law walks in and stands by the door way listenting to the call.
This extract will be from the film and from the middle-end.
The phone call will be a voiceover and as the mother is on the phone, there will b flashbacks in black and white of the husbands death and her thoughts will match the polices voiceover.
